Olight H1R 600 Lumen Light

For whatever reason, most mechanics I’ve ever met had a strange vendetta against head lamps. I never quiet understood it. This light is hands down one of my most used lights, and I would wager that you cannot find a light that can throw out this much light for it’ size, quality, and price.

Coming in at right under 2.5” long, this is one of the smallest lights I’ve ever come across that could put out 600 lumens. With its magnetic base, you can stick it onto steel work surfaces,or use the included headband to make it a compact head lamp.

With all the various light manufacturers out there, the Olight stood out the most to be because of its unique charging port. I hate fiddling around with various USB connectors that you see on most lights released by Fenix, Thrunite, or Nitecore. While they are all excellent lights, the clever charger edged out its competitors in what I would call the “Best Engineering” category.
